All quotations from Goldsmiths Knysna CC are valid for seven days unless otherwise specified.

To confirm your orders, we require a 50% deposit, with the remaining amount payable upon the collection of goods. Payment is expected upon order completion. Interest at a rate of 2% per month will be charged on overdue invoices. The buyer will be responsible for any costs, including legal fees, associated with the recovery of unpaid invoices.

Availability of quoted goods is subject to change.

Please note that refunds will not be issued for custom-made jewellery or special orders for goods not held in stock.

Before collection or delivery to clients, all jewellery crafted by Goldsmiths Knysna CC undergoes a meticulous inspection. This inspection covers both manufacturing and material defects, ensuring that all gemstones are securely set. Any jewellery that passes our inspection is guaranteed to be free of manufacturing defects, and all gemstones are securely set at the time of collection or delivery. If you find any issues with your purchase, please provide written notice within 5 business days of delivery. Shipping, duties, and taxes for repairs, returns, and deliveries will be the responsibility of the client, unless stated otherwise.

We highly recommend bringing in jewellery supplied by Goldsmiths Knysna CC for a complimentary cleaning and inspection at least once every six months. This practice allows us to repair worn or damaged jewellery and prevents the loss of gemstones. Gemstones can become loose during regular wear or due to inadvertent bumping. We will gladly secure loose gemstones at no cost, but we are not responsible for replacing lost gemstones.

We advise you to insure your jewellery before collection, as all ownership risk transfers to the client upon collection or delivery of jewellery from Goldsmiths Knysna CC. We suggest obtaining comprehensive coverage, which includes protection against damage, theft, and loss, including the risk of gemstones falling out.

Unless expressly agreed upon in writing, jewellery will not be insured while in our possession. Goldsmiths Knysna CC will not be held accountable for any loss or damage. We recommend informing your insurance broker if you intend to leave your jewellery in our care.

Jewellery repairs and manufacturing performed by Goldsmiths Knysna CC are carried out entirely at the client's own risk. While we take great care in working with your jewellery and gemstones, there is inherent risk in repairing jewellery, setting gemstones, and removing gemstones from existing settings. Setting and removing gemstones from client-supplied jewellery will be done at the client's own risk. Goldsmiths Knysna CC will not be liable for any breakage, loss, or damage to the client's gemstones or jewellery.

Any descriptions of jewellery or gemstones provided for manufacturing or repair are solely for identification purposes and do not guarantee their quality or authenticity.

Goldsmiths Knysna CC will not be responsible for damage or loss resulting from wear and tear.

Ownership of supplied goods remains with Goldsmiths Knysna CC until they are paid for in full. The seller retains the right to reclaim the goods from the purchaser at any time if payment is not complete.

We eagerly anticipate assisting you. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any inquiries.
